[Film+Q&A] TERROR NULLIUS
Ride into the dark heart of Australia...
TERROR NULLIUS is part political satire, eco-horror and road movie. The much talked about film samples and remixes some of the most iconic characters, moments and imagery in Australian cinema. Using existing film as its raw material and splicing together footage from Australian films such as Mad Max: Fury Road, Babe and Picnic at Hanging Rock, TERROR NULLIUS is a world in which minorities and animals conspire, and not-so-nice white guys finish last.
Directed by Soda_Jerk, an Australian two- person art collective, now based in New York.
Join us for the screening of TERROR NULLIUS followed by a panel discussion moderated by Amanda Slack-Smith, Artistic Director of BIFF2018 and A/Curatorial Manager of the Australian Cinémathèque; in conversation with panelists, Academy Award-winning cinematographer John Seale, Australian director Heath Davis and Award-winning film editor, Jill Bilcock.
